Raptor

When Raptor opened in 1994 it set the bar for what an inverted coaster could be. Thirty years later it still delivers six world-class inversions with the signature B&M smoothness. A must-ride for any invert fan.

Best Row & Strategy

Best Row

Front row for the fully open view with your feet dangling; back row for slightly more snap through inversions

Tips

  • Raptor has excellent capacity — even a long-looking queue tends to move steadily
  • Six inversions including a cobra roll and two corkscrews; it's a complete invert experience
  • The midcourse brake run kills some speed — sit in the back half to preserve more momentum

✅ Pros

  • One of the smoothest and most complete B&M inverts ever built — the gold standard of the model
  • Six quality inversions delivered with buttery-smooth B&M transitions
  • High throughput means this is one of the more manageable waits in the park

⚠️ Cons

  • Pacing drops noticeably after the midcourse brake run
  • Feels dated compared to newer coasters, though it remains exceptionally well-executed
